start the linkstation live with a remote control socket

I have tried to solder some schematic from this forum: http://forum.buffalo.nas-central.org/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=2404&start=15
but this is for hw version1 only. On v2 it does not work. Do you any any ideas?

i have a linkstation live with the firmware Linkstation Pro - 8USB & 2SATA. The Linkstation is in the neighbour room. i can shutdown it over the web-interface. then i switch off the current with the remote control socket(something like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Remote-Control-Socket-Set/dp/B000H9HU70/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1288867556&sr=8-1, only a german version). i also want it to start with the remote control. when i switch on the remote control the linkstation doesnt start. i must push the button in front of the linkstation. is there any way to start it over the remote control?
